~The Pup~

It will be hard to send Bella, the gorgeous Cane Corso puppy, back home with her family. She reminds us so much of our Mastiff Morgyn. While she stayed with us we visited a number of Greenville Restaurants. She was only 13 weeks old when she began her schooling at Barxford University. This pup will be close to 120 lbs by this time next year so you can imagine how much this growing pup was drawn to food… One of her favorite places to eat in Greenville suprisingly isn’t downtown. It is just across the parking lot from Alaska’s absolute favorite place to shop, of course I’m talking about Costco! It’s also within sight of the world’s most fun camping/outdoors store, Cabela’s. The restaurant is very fittingly called, Fresh to Order.

~Fresh To Order~

Fresh to Order is located right on Woodruff Road, there is a lot of competition in the area for a dining experience, even those with patio seating. But there are a few things that make Fresh to Order stand out.
This hybrid experience blended the atmosphere of a fine dining restaurant with speed of a fast food joint. How they manage to pull this off and make a profit at their price point, I have no idea.

After placing our order I asked if they had a container I could use to fill with water for Bella. Before I even signed my receipt the cashier said “Yup” promptly grabbed a plastic dish, filled it with water from the drink station, and took it straight out to our pup. He didn’t even ask where we were sitting or if I needed help. He RAN to quench my pups thirst. That’s what I’m talking about!

~The Menu~

Lots of great options here. I opted for a panini, which was fantastic. Krystal tested the waters with calamari. Let’s talk about that for a second. My first experience with calamari was while on vacation in Florida. I had always been skeptical but Krystal assured me I would love it. I figured, now would be the time to try it since we’re in Florida… LOVED IT! All that being said, I have tried calamari a number of times since then and rarely does it compare. Although the calamari at F2O was not as good as my very 1st experience near the ocean it was better than many other experiences I have had elsewhere. With F2O’s calamari meal being priced comparable to most calamari appetizers I’ve had in the past there’s no reason to avoid this selection regardless if your a calamari virgin or if you dance with a squid every chance you get.

~Honorable Mention~

Some other features worth mentioning would include the unique choice of music. Thanks to Sound Hound I was able to identify what we were listening to. It was a re-mix of a Shirley Bassey hit from the 70s, which I would have never guessed. I was able to find it on YouTube if your as interested as I was.
Also, the outdoor patio is equipped with TVs, heaters and fans. If you take delight in a large assortments of exotic flavored teas and juices you will love the drink selection at F2O.

AWESOME!Β IΒ don’t think you will find another restaurant that carries all the similar qualities found at F2O.

NOTE: Orders are placed inside at the counter and dog’s are not allowed inside. So if your flying solo this may not be your best option.

Is your pup is ready to dine with you?

If you love the idea of taking your dog with you for lunch or dinner but not sure if they are ready for the excitement of downtown Greenville? F2O would be a good place to try first. The outdoor seating is completely covered and there is a wall that blocks your pups view of the cars and pedestrians passing by while its short enough you yourself can see out of the dining area.
